SEHRENE to Join Key EU Dialogue on Clean Energy and Inclusion at Air4NRG Workshop
SEHRENE is proud to take part in the upcoming hybrid workshop, “(Em)Powering the EU Clean Energy Transition: The Role of LDES and Gender Equality,” hosted by the Air4NRG project as part of its second General Assembly. The event will take place on 13 May 2025 from 14:30 to 17:20 CET in Valencia, Spain at the Hotel Primus Valencia, with online participation available.
Officially recognised as a Sustainable Energy Day under European Sustainable Energy Week 2025 (#EUSEW2025), the workshop will spotlight two critical themes:
- Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) as a key enabler of decarbonisation and energy resilience, featuring members of the LDES Cluster including SEHRENE, Air4NRG, SCO2OP-TES, STREAM, and Artelys.
- Gender Equality in Energy, exploring how Horizon-funded projects can promote women’s participation in STEM, leadership roles, and inclusive energy systems.
This interactive forum will provide a unique opportunity to exchange ideas, tackle regulatory and market barriers to LDES deployment, and explore strategies for a just and inclusive energy transition. Outcomes from the event will inform a position paper on integrating LDES into EU energy policies.
