Brescia, 14 May 2024 – Turboden S.p.A. represented by Marco Baresi and Nazarena Spinelli proudly participated in the LIFE RePowerEU Conference in Brescia, showcasing its role in the innovative SEHRENE project. Organized by the European Commission in collaboration with Confindustria Brescia, the two-day event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss energy efficiency and decarbonization strategies, particularly in the heating and cooling sector.
Turboden’s involvement highlighted its commitment to advancing long-duration energy storage solutions and leveraging industrial waste heat recovery to support Europe’s green transition. During the conference, the SEHRENE project was positioned as a critical initiative addressing Europe’s energy storage challenges while contributing to the broader goals of the Net-Zero Industry Act.
The conference also featured a guided tour of the Ori Martin steel plant, where Turboden’s cutting-edge innovation-the temperature industrial heat pump—demonstrated its ability to recover waste heat for district heating networks.
