SEHRENE Consortium was invited to IEA ES Task 44 Kick-Off Meeting
In April 2024, representatives from SEHRENE’s consortium, including members from CEA and the University of Liège, participated in the IEA Energy Storage (ES) Task 44 Kick-Off Meeting in Graz, Austria. This two-day event, held on April 8-9, provided an excellent platform for our team to engage with experts in the energy storage sector, particularly in discussing the growing public interest in
Carnot Battery technology. During the meeting, SEHRENE’s innovative approach to Electro-Thermal Energy Storage (ETES) was introduced, and valuables discussions were held on how Carnot Batteries could contribute to enhancing energy storage systems across Europe. The interaction between the SEHRENE team and Task 44 experts highlighted a shared interest in advancing technical developments, especially regarding data exchange and practical use cases in energy storage.
